Caroling at The Seasons

>> Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Last year, when a lot of us were a Girl Scouts Daisy troop, we sang Christmas carols for the residents of The Seasons Assisted Living home here in Reno.  It was by far our favorite outing of the year, so when we started Cadets, we knew that we had to include this in our holiday charity events.  And the experience this year was just as wonderful as the first!

There is a beautiful living room/foyer when you first come into The Seasons.  Here we are waiting to go carol:

The amazing songbooks Mr. Kasey put together for us!

Ms. Val keeping the Cadets occupied with stories!

Singing carol to the happy residents.  Thanks Mr. Kasey for playing guitar for us!

The best part was after caroling, when the Cadets went around and met with the residents and handed out our blankets.  You could tell they were really happy to have children there to visit them!

We will be back at The Seasons next year to carry on our favorite holiday tradition!
